KEY_POWER not captured
Hello,
PS: I'm not sure if a gitlab issue is the right place, I'm happy to move to another communication method if you prefer (mail, irc, Matrix, gitter)
I'm trying to do a simple x2y-style remapping to map the power key of my laptop to insert (because insert can otherwise ony be accessed with an Fn combo). AFAIK "long power press" to forcefully poweroff is handled at the firmware level, so I don't need the power key for normal usage.
Anyway I can't seem to get intercept see the power key, at least my x2y does not receive the input. I suspect that systemd-logind is getting in the way. I have already set "HandlePowerKey=ignore", yet it prints a "power key short press" message to the system log.
However, KDE receives power key inputs just fine, so there must something that prevents intercept from seeing the event, while the event passes to KDE.
What can I do to diagnose?
