redream.io website - expired Root CA in certificate chain
Hello,
seems like https://redream.io site is sending an intermediate certificate chain containing the - freshly - expired AddTrust External CA Root Root CA certificate. This shouldn't normally be a problem, but looks like it trips the RetroPie install scripts which rely on wget
to download the redream
package (more details here here).
A more detailed explanation for the breakage can be found in in https://www.agwa.name/blog/post/fixing_the_addtrust_root_expiration, analysis of the certificate chain sent by redream.io:
Would it be possible to update redream.io SSL config and replace the certificate chain with a valid one (https://whatsmychaincert.com/?redream.io has an updated bundle link) ? It should resolve the RetroPie's download issues.
