"Text to Glyphs" replaces newline characters with @ characters

Summary:

The new Text to Glyphs under Text menu converts newline characters to @ characters.

Steps to reproduce:

Open Inkscape
Write some text with newline characters (e.g. type a, press Enter, type b, press Enter, ... etc.)
Switch to the Select tool and select the text.
Go to Text → Text to Glyphs.

What happened?

@ symbols are appended at the end of each line (as shown in the screenshot above).

Version info

Inkscape 1.4-dev and 1.3.1

OS: Ubuntu 22.04 and Windows 11.
