1.3 Export defaulting to inkscape svg regardless of file type selected (win 10)
Summary:
Previous versions (pre 1.3) in export (single file) you could select the file type in the dropdown, and then when you clicked on the folder icon to select path and filename, the file type selection would migrate to both the "filename" and "saves as type" in the windows save dialogue. Well apart from pdf which was not an option in the dialogue "save as type"; in v1.2. I realise this is fairly trivial and just requires learning a new process, but still believe it is an anomalous outcome.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- create and select path to export
- go to export (single file)
- select any non-inkscape svg file type (incl plain svg)
- select folder icon
- windows save dialogue will always open with inkscape SVG as file extn and "save as type"
What happened?
Regardless of file type selected prior to opening windows save dialogue the file type selected with always be inkscape svg (.svg).
What should have happened?
The file type selection would migrate to both the "filename" and "saves as type" in the windows save dialogue
