Halftone patterns use the word 'vertical' for horizontal lines?
Summary:
Maybe this is intentional, as the Shading is vertical. However, when translating it, it's indistinguishable from the lines being vertical... when they are horizontal.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- apply any 'vertical' pattern to an object
What happened?
- be confused, because it's clearly not vertical but horizontal
What should have happened?
- either the patterns should be inverted (not as useful, I like them in this current way) or
- it should say 'horizontal' or
- the 'vertical' should clearly refer to the shading, not the type of pattern
