1.2beta accessibility (regression): Newly opened dialogs do not have focus
Summary:
Opening a dialog in 1.2 beta does not give focus to that dialog. This makes it impossible to use dialogs with keyboard only, you always need to click into the dialog somewhere to give it focus.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape 1.2beta
- open any dialog (with button, menu item or keyboard shortcut)
- press Tab and watch that there are no buttons / fields highlighted in the freshly opened dialog
- click on dialog
- press Tab again - now it works
What happened?
The dialog title flashes, but tab-bing through dialog fields with just the keyboard proves to be impossible as one cannot get the dialog focused. This works in 1.1.1, but not in 1.1.2.
What should have happened?
A freshly opened dialog should get the focus, so users can use the keyboard to edit their drawing.
