Drawing area clipped after applying filter.
Summary:
After applying a filter to my design, and hiding the tool-widget, part of the display is still hidden.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- open file
- open Document Properties dialog and dock it
- Select a group
- Apply a drop shadow filter
- Hide the docked Document properties dialog by pushing it to the right.
What happened?
- Where the dialog previously overlapped with the working area, the graphic appears to be cut off vertically, the right part is not showing. This zone is though not identical to the area overlapped by the tool options.
- You can move the graphic to have it fully displayed again. But sometimes, re-adjusting the canvas to the new location of the picture does not help. I do not understand more than that.
- Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. Even hitting Ctrl+S while the display appears to be clipped, once resulted in the whole image being displayed again. Only once, though. I have in vain tried to reproduce that same behavior.
What should have happened?
The graphic should continue to be displayed as before, only with the drop shadow applied.
