Calligraphy brush preset-ed from last session, but not shown in the dialogue

Steps to reproduce

(based on #1326 (comment 327416518))

  • Open Inkscape with default preferences
  • Set Calligraphy pencil to "Splotchy" or "Tracing"
  • Close Inkscape
  • Open Inkscape
  • Open Calligraphy tool, preset is "Dip pen", but tool behaves like "Splotchy" (or "Tracing" resp !?)

What happened:

I dont remember exactly. But the main related point is that:

  1. the last time i used calligraphy tool, i used splotch preset.
  2. And i dont remember after how many reopens, when i used the tool again, the preset was showing dig pen preset, but was working as splotch.
  3. To (force refresh!?) it, clicking dig pen didn't work, (ohh, and i forgot to try to change it to other for testing, sorry, i am just too ... overwhelmed these days).
  4. So, i clicked splotch, and then dig pen, and then it worked.
