Feature Request: Support Illustrator SVG Pastes
Summary:
When I copy a shape in illustrator with the intent to paste it into inkscape, change contexts to inkscape, and paste... nothing happens.
Steps to reproduce:
Put this in your clipboard:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><svg id="a" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" viewBox="0 0 119.339 119.339"><defs><style>.b{fill:none;stroke:#231f20;stroke-miterlimit:10;stroke-width:.283px;}</style></defs><circle class="b" cx="59.669" cy="59.669" r="59.528"/></svg>
Paste in inkscape
What happened?
Nothing
What should have happened?
I should see a circle in inkscape. If the inkscape viewbox x,y is greater than the specified viewbox, use the provided coordinates. If it is smaller, place the shape at the center of the layout.
