Cannot overwrite system highlight-colors.css with one in user preferences /ui folder
Summary:
The setting for the new layer highlight colors is pretty hard to change, as it requires messing with system files, which will be overwritten on the next update.
Steps to reproduce:
- open
/usr/share/inkscape/ui/highlight-colors.css
- edit
- save under
~/.config/inkscape/ui/highlight-colors.css
- open Inkscape
What happened?
- nothing (no change in layer colors in objects dialog)
What should have happened?
It should be possible to override the CSS in the user preferences directory, which is accessible to users - in contrast requiring users to change system files.
