Inkscape-c4e8f9e-x86_64.AppImage crashes after welcome window

Summary:

When I start Inkscape 1.1 x86_64 AppImage, it crashes after the last page of Welcome window

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start ./Inkscape-c4e8f9e-x86_64.AppImage from console.
2. Press "Save", then "Thanks", then "New Document".

What happened?

A message box opens "Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close down." The only button avvailable is "Close"

What should have happened?

Inkscape window should open.
