png direct edition not anymore possible
Hi,
Summary:
I used to direct edit png files with Inkscape. It is terribly efficient to help people in using computers, by annotating screen prints like:
Under Debian Buster (version 0.92.4-3) it worked as is when I pressed ctrl+S (and invited me to save a svg when I leaved).
Under Debian Bulleye (current version 1.0-5) it fails when I press ctrl+S:
It tells me that no extension has been found for png documents (unknown file extension).
Steps to reproduce:
- open a png with Inkscape.
- link or attach it.
- add any shape
- save using CTRL+S
What happened?
Error message.
What should have happened?
In the past, it simply overwrote the file using the exported the PNG version of the current document.
