Stroke growth origin
Feature request
I think that many times when we're using the stroke, it would be convenient to make it grow in a certain direction, to have an origin of a sort. Currently, from what I know, the "growth origin" is right in the center, and it's not possible to change that. So, here's a little setup that explains what I mean:
As you can clearly see, when we increase the yellow stroke, it grows from the center, now, I personally think it would be of great help, if we could have things like this:
So when we increase the stroke width there, it grows inward in a way. The same would apply for it growing outward. This could be made to be a value that would be 50% when the stroke origin is at center, 0% when stroke grows outward and 100% when stroke grows inward.
One of the use cases would be for example, when using the "Paste Size" option(s), and turning off the stroke scaling when scaling objects. Currently, you need to press the "Paste Size" multiple times to get an object with a giant stroke to "actually" have the size you want.
When having stroke grow inward though, this would be a piece of cake.
