Editing Text with Text and Font Dialog reverts fill back to parent fill (but font family preserved)
Steps to reproduce:
- open a new document
- add a sentence and highlight it
- choose a color from the color bar at the bottom
- open the text dialog
- go to the text tab and add a letter
- APPLY and the text goes back to black
What happened?
- When no text is highlighted, clicking apply will keep the tspan font styling, but not the fill color.
What should have happened?
- The fill and stroke should be taken from the same place as the font styles when you edit text in the Text and Font dialog.
- out of scope, but it'd be nice if highlighted text kept the tspan styles if all the text is in the same tspan
Old issue (determined not to be a bug)
#### Summary:When editing the SVG file, the resizing of the page does not work correctly.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape and load the file
- on the doc properties change the text background to checkered for transparency
- change the text (both directly on the canvas and in the text properties), change the font size, etc.
- on the document properties, resize the page to fit the content
What happened?
- parts of the text (on the right hand side) will not appear. This carries over to the exported PNGs. My guess is that the text and tspan are not kept synchronized.
- Also, sometimes when applying from the text properties, the color reverted from white back to black.
What should have happened?
