Some raster not displayed when output to PDF
Before explaining the bug: I am not able to reproduce how the defective SVG was generated (using Inkscape 1.0), but I attach the SVG file and you can see how the saving to PDF results in a PDF missing some parts (both using Inkscape 1.0 or development version).
Summary:
I imported a PDF using Poppler/Cairo import, modified it and exported to PDF. Some elements were not visible in the PDF. When exporting to PNG, everything was visible instead. Repeating all the process (import of the PDF, modify and export) resulted in a good PDF (I suppose I didn't manage to reproduce exactly what I did before).
Steps to reproduce:
I cannot reproduce how the broken SVG was generated (it was originally generated with Inkscape 1.0) but you can see how from the attached SVG an empty PDF is resulting:
- open Inkscape
- open the attached SVG file
- Save As... to PDF
What happened?
The saved PDF is empty.
What should have happened?
The saved PDF should contain a raster "A", as visible both in Inkscape and in PNG export.

Why?
As you can see in the Objects list, there are only two objects: the second object looks useless and if you remove it the PDF in output will be good. I have no idea how that object got created. Here is how it appears inside the SVG file:
<use
inkscape:label="use1658"
height="100%"
width="100%"
y="0"
x="0"
id="use1658"
transform="matrix(0,0,0,0,0,749999.99)"
mask="url(#mask1)"
xlink:href="#image34351"
style="clip-rule:nonzero" />
