Create a snap/appimage for minarca-client
Create a flatpack for minarca-client.
https://docs.flatpak.org/en/latest/first-build.html
For app image: https://github.com/TheAssassin/appimagecraft
<TheAssassin> okay, that sounds good
<TheAssassin> the desktop file should work the way you want, and the APpImage entrypoint can call the CLI directly
<TheAssassin> you can use appimagecraft, a li'l automation tool I develop, to automate building your AppImage with linuxdeploy, another tool I started, as well as its conda plugin
<TheAssassin> the conda plugin sets up a miniconda environment inside of the AppDir, i.e., the AppImage's payload
<TheAssassin> inside that environment, you can just pip install your package, I guess
<TheAssassin> that should be totally sufficient
<TheAssassin> check https://github.com/TheAssassin/appimagecraft/blob/master/appimagecraft.yml for some inspiration
<TheAssassin> you can probably just copy that one and adjust it a bit
<TheAssassin> the AppRun.sh you can find in this repository is the "entry point" and decides what will be called when the AppImage is launched
<TheAssassin> i.e., it needs to launch your CLI from the miniconda env
<TheAssassin> it's really straightforward once you've seen it
<TheAssassin> the desktop file you specify should just say
<TheAssassin> Exec=minarca ui
<TheAssassin> the "minarca" bit will be replaced upon desktop integration with the path to your AppImage
<ikus060> Ok, I will take the time to look at this appimagecraft later today
<ikus060> Thanks alot for your recomendation
