The 17.0 major release is coming on May 16, 2024! This version brings many exciting improvements to GitLab, but also removes some deprecated features. Avoid generating a MET peak at zero due the Gaussian smearing treatment in low-MET events (really we want a multidimensional, asymmetric smearing function, but that's not supplied) and update the ATLAS Run 2 MET smearing to be based on the performance characterisation 2018 paper.
