LHCB_2022_I2694685: D0 production in pPb at 8.16 TeV
Please, consider the following plugin for the D0 production in pPb collision at 8.16 TeV c.o.m. energy per nucleon. the plugin was validated by the collaboration internally using an older version 3.x of RIVET so the validation YODA1 is attached Pythia_8.308_pp-scaled_8160_5000000.yoda.gz The D0 hadrons are selected from minbias events generated from pp collisions at 8.16 TeV with the cross-section scaled by the lead mass number since alternative EPOS-LHC model cannot yet produce heavy flavour.
I/we decided not to provide the R_{pPb} ratios published in the paper since the nuclear modification factor is based on an interpolation of the D0 production rate in pp collisions at 8.16 TeV so the distributions for this parameter in HEPData.net are not a clean measurement. However the plugin is re-entrant in its current implementation.
Source code was migrated from original RIVET 3.x histogramming to new YODA 2.x used by RIVET 4.x.
