Write plots from `contur-rivetplots` to different directory from plotting scripts?
By default the pdf/png plots and html files from contur-rivetplots
are written to the same ANALYSIS/plots
directory containing all the executable Python scripts for all the beams that contur
/contur -g
was run on.
In certain cases, running contur-rivetplots
with --cls
matching may only produce a few plots from not more than one or two analyses.
I find it useful to copy over the index.html
and pdf/png files to my local pc or web browser to browse the results there. However, if you do a simple recursive copy of the runpoint folder that you ran contur-rivetplots
for, you will also copy over all the other analyses that were not even plotted as well as all the executable Python scripts, rather than just a handful of pdf files and the html index.
(Of course one could do a more sophisticated cp
but it made me think there is a more user-friendly way...)
Maybe we could change the output structure to have a ANALYSIS/scripts
folder containing all the Python scripts, and then when you run contur-rivetplots
only the pdf/png and html files are written out to ANALYSIS/plots
?
