Labels can be applied to issues, merge requests, and epics. Group labels are available for any project within the group.

Labels

  • P0: These are issues that affect normal operations of the network. Anything related to halts, instability, delays, churns, etc.
  • P1: These are critical tasks. They represent immediate blockers or major bugs that prevent other work from moving forward or put the project or product at risk. These tasks should be addressed immediately.
  • P2: High priority tasks. These are important features, bugs, or issues that need to be addressed in the next sprint or iteration. They are impactful but not immediately blocking.
  • P3: Medium priority tasks. These are standard tasks, features, improvements, or non-critical bugs that need to be worked on once P1 and P2 tasks are complete.
  • P4: Low priority tasks. These are tasks or issues which are nice to have but not necessary in the short term. They can be enhancements, refactors, or non-urgent bugs. These are typically addressed as time allows.
  • P5: These are lowest priority tasks. They are often suggestions or enhancements that would not add significant immediate value to the product but may be considered in the future.
