Milestone
Migrate Code to Boilerplate
Context
We have been establishing our new stack in the Fedora Websites 3.0 Repo, however this repo is only mean to be used for testing our building blocks, learning, and creating foundational content.
The long term goals are to:
- move our base collection of components into the fp-components repo so that in the future they will be added to projects as a node module and maintained in this single library.
- move our tested configuration into the boilerplate repo from which it will be used to create the repos for our websites.
Requirements
-
Components needed for these pages are built, tested, and usable: - Flock to Fedora
- Fedora IoT Page Group
- Fedora Workstation Page Group
Tasks
When we are ready to make this migration, the following tasks will need to be done:
-
Move components to the fp-components repo - write documentation in vitebook
- test that these can be imported and used
-
Move the configuration to the boilerplate repo - also import the new fp-components module into the boilerplate
- verify that all configurations work correctly
-
Use boilerplate to create the final code space(s) for our pages - Move page code from 3.0 repo as well
- verify that everything works correctly
-
