gmx convert-tpr -until broken in 2021.1
With 2021.1, convert-tpr does not write a tpr when extending the simulation time with -until. Evidently, the internal calculation of nsteps is wrong. Using -nsteps instead works fine.
GROMACS: gmx convert-tpr, version 2021.1
Executable: /data/shared/opt/gromacs/2021.1/bin//gmx
Data prefix: /data/shared/opt/gromacs/2021.1
Working dir: /data/shared/projects/[...]
Command line:
gmx convert-tpr -s umb029.tpr -until 20000 -o extend.tpr
Reading toplogy and stuff from umb029.tpr
Reading file umb029.tpr, VERSION 2021.1 (single precision)
nsteps = 2500000, run_step = 0, current_t = 0, until = 20000
**Extending remaining runtime until 0 ps (now 0 steps)
You've simulated long enough. Not writing tpr file**
