enhance ordering documentation to explain results for all rankdir values and explain "flat edge" impact
Steps to reproduce
The ordering documentation (https://www.graphviz.org/docs/attrs/ordering/) and (p.15 of https://www.graphviz.org/pdf/dotguide.pdf) mentions left-to-right
node sequencing (seemingly assuming rankdir=TB). It does not explain the results for the other three possible values.
flat edges are also mentioned in passing, but without explanation.
Expected Behaviour
Explanation of impact of other rankdir values (e.g. rankdir=LR)
Explanation of impact of flat edges.
Actual Behaviour
No mention of rankdir.
No substantive mention of flat edges

Additional info
It seems that rankdir=TB and rankdir=BT result in right-to-left, while rankdir=LR and rankdir=RL result in top-to-bottom.
This might be a documentation Issue, or it could be a code bug.
The possible impact of flat edges (quite likely when ordering is used) is not clear.
