bottom gutter artifact after closing a second tab
Thanks for filing an issue! Please answer the questions below so I can help you.
- iTerm2 version: 3.4.0b2
- OS version: 10.14.6
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Start iTerm afresh. Hit
ls<CR>
enough to times to eat up the whole screen and observe your shell prompt at the very bottom, and observe that there's no space between the prompt and the bottom edge of the iTerm window (except for Vmargin). - Hit Cmd-T to open a new tab.
- Hit Cmd-W to close that new tab.
What happened:
Observe that there is now some kind of gutter of empty space between the shell prompt and the bottom edge of iterm2. This gutter is about 19 pixels tall. Observe also that this gutter will not go away after entering more shell comands and hitting return.
What should have happened:
There should be no such gutter. The original tab should look exactly the same as it did to start with.
