Enhancement: show tab bar temporarily when dragging onto a window without tabs
First of all, thank you for making iTerm2!
I have the Appearance preference "Show tab bar even when there is only one tab" disabled, so my iTerm windows start out without a tab bar.
This makes it a little more difficult to combine two windows into one window with two tabs. To do that, I need to
- Create a new tab in the destination window (I use Command-T for this).
- Command-Option-Shift-drag the other window onto the tab bar.
- Delete the second tab (created in step 1), since I didn't actually want it.
It would be ideal for me if dragging the window in step 2 showed the tab bar so that I could use it as a drop target. (I'm not sure if the tab bar should show on all windows as soon as you start dragging or whether it should only appear when you hover over a window. Either way would make things easier.)
Thanks for considering!
