Using terminal splits spawn unresponsive process
- iTerm2 version:
- OS version: 10.15.6 Beta (19G60d) com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Start a new terminal
- Open kakoune, and try to use kak.fzf to open a terminal split (:ff-mode, then f) (I think this uses osascript, because the kakoune debug log says:
82:1012: execution error: iTerm got an error: Application isn’t running. (-600)
- Look at activity monitor to see unresponsive iTerm2 child process
What happened:
When using fzf mode in kakoune without tmux, trying to create window splits will fail due to Application is not running error (-600)
. Killing the unresponsive process causes it work again, but it will repeat itself after successfully opening one pane split.
What should have happened: There should be no unresponsive iTerm2 process and splits should work without having to kill said process
Sorry if this is a vague bug report, I will be happy to provide extra information / configuration if needed for repro.
