Crash loop after printing multi-character char constant
- iTerm2 version: 3.3.7
- OS version: macOS (Hackintosh) 10.14.6
- Crash log
To Reproduce:
- Forget to turn single quotes into double quotes
- Print an invalid multi-character char constant:
std::cout << '--';
What happened:
iTerm2 crashed as soon as the (dodgy) character was printed, and continued to crash even when I told it not to reopen anything.
What should have happened:
Given the fact that the 'character' is fundamentally invalid, I might've expected a crash. However, the repeated crashing was unsolicited and confusing.
I hope this is the right place to put this and that I've provided helpful information. I'll try to clarify anything if required.
