Pressing Command + Escape twice with (an active tmux session + buried session) to hide the active session brings up a new session

Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Start a tmux + iterm session
- Setup preferences for system wide hotkey to be command and escape
- Make the tmux iterm window active
- Press command escape.
What happened: A new iterm session showed up
What should have happened: nothing because i was trying to hide the tmux session.
