A larger grab area would improve usability
- iTerm2 version: 3.0.14
- OS version: 10.12.5
I didn't attach the requested file because I'm sure it's unnecessary. This is a usability request.
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Split the terminal into two (cmd-shift-D)
- Use the mouse to try to grab the divider, to resize the two panes
- Wow golly that grab area is incredibly narrow
What happened: I spend a few seconds attempting to get my cursor on the one or three pixel high area where the cursor turns into a hand and I can drag
What should have happened: the drag area is, oh, maybe nine or fifteen pixels high which is a target hittable by human beings
This drag-area size might come from OSX, I don't know, but it is in iTerm2 where I have by far the most problem getting the cursor into the right place to drag. It's difficult and I have to do it all the time.
Thanks for the best terminal on any platform. Seriously. The features that set you apart are Cmd-K and Cmd-(Shift-)D.
