Feature request: file copy between terminals
One feature I regularly miss in my work flow is being able to copy a file from a machine to which I have an ssh instance open in one terminal to another machine I have open in another. This is especially inpractical when both machines are behind one or two head nodes / access nodes (ssh to DMZ -> ssh to cluster head node -> ssh to cluster node). I wonder whether it would be doable to have a shell integration that basically takes a file that can be read in a terminal, and write the data to a file in another terminal, without having to save copies at any step in between. Basically what happens is an it2dl followed by an it2ul of that file (which are commands I already like very much btw), or an it2copy with a paste.
Is this something that would be considered at all? Or does it come with security implications that I don't directly see? I may actually have a look at the it2ul and it2dl code and see whether I could write this myself (and do a pull request) but that wouldn't really be of much use if it was already planned or considered too risky anyhow.
