Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Open iterm2, attach to tmux via "tmux -CC"
- Split the new Window using Cmd + D. Now you have split panes.
- Double click on one of the panes (on the title), making it full screen. a. On the maximized pane, run some "grep" command that returns the results on the screen in long lines (160-200 characters per line) b. Double click on the maximized pane again to make it snap back to the split view.
What happened: The grep results on the terminal are truncated. Only about 100 characters are visible, the rest are not visible. The menu icon on the top right side of the split pane is not visible anymore.
What should have happened: The grep results on the terminal should not have been truncated. The menu icon on the top right side of the split pane should be visible.
