Restoring a terminal where CWD is not $HOME fails to load .bashrc

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Open a terminal and "cd ~/Movies"
- Quit iTerm
- Start iTerm
What is the expected output?
iTerm restores the window at ~/Movies after having reloaded .bashrc
What do you see instead?
-bash: .bashrc: No such file or directory
dirac:Movies ob$
What version of iTerm2 are you using?
Build 2.9.20150330-nightly
What OS version are you using?
10.10.2 (14C1514)
