Can't delete, edit or add Profiles

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Delete profile
1.1 OR edit profile settings
1.2 OR add profile - Close iTerm
- Open iTerm
- Deleted profile is back again
4.1 Profile has old settings
4.2 Profile is missing
What is the expected output?
Profile stays deleted / settings are as edited / new profile is in list
What do you see instead?
The deleted profile / the old settings from before / the new profile is missing
