'Open Quickly' popup interacts badly with hotkey window
By shab... on September 12, 2014 23:33 (imported from Google Code)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Set up a hotkey window with 'Hotkey window hides when focus is lost'
- Open hotkey window
- Hit Cmd-Shift-O to open 'Open Quickly' dialog
What is the expected output?
Either that the hotkey window should hide, but the open-quickly dialog should be focused (acceptable),
or:
the hotkey window should remain open, but the open dialog is shown on top of it and focused (preferable to me).
If it does remain open, it should be closed if the session selected from the open dialog is not contained within the HK window/tabs when the new session is switched to. If the open dialog is canceled with <esc>, focus should return to the HK window.
What do you see instead?
Either the HK window hides and leaves the open dialog (appears to only work the first invocation for a given session?), or that the HK window hides, returns focus to previous app, and open dialog is unable to be easily found.
What version of iTerm2 are you using?
"iTerm Version" = "2.9.20140911-nightly";
What OS version are you using?
OSX 10.9.4
Please provide any additional information below.
2 debuglog files attached: whenfailing is with the 'hide HK when lose focus' option is set, whensuccess is with that option unset. Attached plist probably has it unset, since it did it after testing both.
Probably related to my other bug in #3195 (closed) (will update there if so)
