Non-lion full screen attaches itself to every desktop
By stu...@10uur.nl on May 16, 2014 06:49 (imported from Google Code)
When using the non-lion fullscreen mode, iTerm will attach itself to every desktop. Even when right clicking the app icon in the dock and going through options > assign to > this desktop.
1) Attach your ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist to this
issue.
Done
2) Create a debug log while reproducing the issue. Instructions are here:
https://code.google.com/p/iterm2/wiki/DebugLogging
I can't imagine this being a bug which will produce errors. If my log is needed, please tell me which operations I should do while generating log.
3) If you are reporting a performance problem, do this:
https://code.google.com/p/iterm2/wiki/HowToSample
Not a performance problem
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Disable Preferences > General > Window > Use Lion-style Fullscreen windows
- Make your window full screen (CMD + ENTER)
- Switch through your desktops (CTRL + LEFT, CTRL + RIGHT) and notice how the screen will persist itself in every desktop.
What is the expected output?
It would honour the settings in
CTRL click app icon in dock > options > "Assign to" options.
What do you see instead?
iTerm react as if the assignment option "All desktops" has been enabled at all times.
What version of iTerm2 are you using?

What OS version are you using?
