What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Open Activity Monitor
- Choose tab Energy
- Verify it says Graphics card: integrated (close other applications if already in High Performance)
- Open iterm2
- Graphics card will switch to High Performance.
If graphics card is forced to stay integrated (by disabling switching with gfxCardStatus tool found here: http://gfx.io), iTerm works just as well.
What is the expected output?
I'd expect a terminal app to not require high performance graphics :-)
What do you see instead?
Unnecessarily high energy usage.
What version of iTerm2 are you using?
Build 1.0.0.20120203
What OS version are you using?
Mac OS X 10.9.1 Build 13B42
