What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Configure your profile -> window -> style to "Top of Screen"
- Set a Show/Hide iTerm2 hot key in preferences -> Keys
- Use the key to trigger the style
What is the expected output?
A "quake-like" terminal window
What do you see instead?
A "quake-like" terminal window using full width of the display (ignoring whatever is set as width in Profiles -> Window -> "Settings for new Windows"). It respects the settings for height though.
What version of iTerm2 are you using?
1.0.0.20140112
What OS version are you using?
OS X Mavericks 10.9.1
Please provide any additional information below.
Full width makes sense for laptops, but for large displays it becomes a waste of space.
