Emacs movement keys broken in zsh with recent ITerm upgrade
By mie... on January 21, 2014 18:02 (imported from Google Code)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Open Iterm2 after the 1.0.0.20140112 upgrade
- Press your favorite cursor movement shortcuts C-p, C-n, C-a, C-e, C-b
What is the expected output? The cursor moves as expected (in zsh)
What do you see instead? Highlighted characters like "^P" "^N" show up
What version of iTerm2 are you using? 1.0.0.20140112
What OS version are you using? Mac OS X Mavericks
Please provide any additional information below.
I did not have this problem before I upgraded iterm2 the other day. See the attached screenshot.
NOTE: For some reason, everything works fine in Bash. However, I have not upgraded zsh; only iterm2, so I believe this is an iterm2 regression. You can see this in the last screenshot.
