When a tmux window/tab is frontmost, cmd-t should open a tmux tab

I would like cmd-t to "do what I mean". This means having it duplicate the currently active tab.
If the currently active tab uses a different profile, then the tab should be opened with that profile. This is the current "New Tab With Current Profile" option.
If the currently active tab is a tmux tab then the new tab should be a tmux tab. This is not currently achievable.
I'd be happy if the "New Tab With Current Profile" menu option were extended to handle tmux tabs (this means a tab connecting over tmux, not just a tab using the tmux profile but connecting locally which is what currently happens).
