ATTACH YOUR ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist FILE TO THIS
ISSUE!
Almost all issues are configuration-specific. Issues missing this file will
be closed.
I chose "https" in the URL Schemes drop-down box, and now after I've tried to "unset" it, clicking an https... link in any program (e.g. Mail) opens as a new tab in iTerm2, instead of my browser (Chrome). I have to manually copy/paste in order to follow the link.
I have verified in profiles that URL Schemes > "https" is not checked. I'm unsure how to read the plist file, but there is a reference to "https" in there. Note: this is happening even after I deleted the OLD plist file, generated a new one.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Preferences > Profiles > [profile, Default in my case] > General > URL Schemes drop-down to "https"
- Do stuff * time
- Follow step 1 again
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected the link to open in my browser, instead it is opening as a new tab in iTerm2.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iTerm2 1.0.0.20130624
Mac OSX 10.8.5
