Clear Buffer issue with mosh

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Connect to a server using mosh.

3.
Press CMD-K.
4.
Now, the prompt is at the top of the window.
5.
Press return.
6.
Prompt jumps to the end of the window.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Actually, I don't know the correct behavior, but this one is obviously wrong. It might be a bug in mosh, it feels like an incompatibility between iTerm2 and mosh.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
On client:
