after a recent upgrade, opening a url in the background is no longer working properly. option-command-click used to work fine, now it occasionally freezes the entire iterm app, needing it to be force killed, or it just screws up the display of the command in the current terminal. for example, if i'm reading a file with less and option-cmd-click a url, it opens the url, but the terminal that had less running, is now completely blank except the status line, so it tells me where i am in the file, but the rest of the screen is blank. cmd-r to reset the screen doesn't work to fix it. i have to q to quit out of less and rerun it. when clicking on a url in the output of tail, i can see it spit out a bunch of escape sequences to the screen.
