What steps will reproduce the problem?
- From within iterm2 window ssh to Solaris 10 server where TERM is set to dtterm via .bashrc.
- Execute tmux (version 1.6) with no command line arguments.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect a single green status bar at the bottom of the window displaying default status information. See status information flash within bar then disappear. "Ctl-b :" followed by an invalid command causes the height of the status bar to become two lines with status information on top line. Cursor is returned to one line lower in the window than it should be.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.0.0.20130622 on OS X 10.8.4.
Please provide any additional information below.
This problem does not occur in Terminal. It also does not occur if the outside TERM value is set to a terminal type like ansi or xterm which does not display colors. If it is set to any value that does display colors, the problem occurs. The problem occurs regardless of whether the "-2" argument is passed to tmux.
