foreground terminal locks up when CMD-ALT-ARROW used on non-split window.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Open a terminal
- Open a new tab
- Press CMD-ALT-LEFT (or RIGHT)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The foreground terminal refuses to take any input or display any output, however killing it with CMD-W still works and then iTerm2 continues to work normally.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iTerm2 1.0.0.20120203 on OSX 10.7.4.
Please provide any additional information below.
I keep running into this because I often have split windows and use CMD-ALT-ARROW to switch between them but I keep hitting CMD-ALT-ARROW when I don't have a split window out of force of habit (in this case when trying to switch tabs).
