What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Run OS X 10.8
- Open a terminal
- Terminals will start hanging on logout
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The terminal should close without error. Instead, it hangs.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iTerm2 Build 1.0.0.20120203
$ uname -a
Darwin mybox.local 12.0.0 Darwin Kernel Version 12.0.0: Mon Jan 30 18:41:34 PST 2012; root:xnu-2050.1.12~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

What's interesting is that over time, the machine gets to a point where I cannot open new ptys, both in Terminal (which I don't use except to verify this) and iTerm2. The error given is that the resource isn't available, and what it looks like from my end is that the max open files limit on the pty is being hit, which implies there's a problem with closing the file on exit. This only appears to be an issue on OS X 10.8.
