- iTerm2 version: Build 3.4.23
- OS version: Sonoma 14.4.1com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
- Attach
~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
here (drag-drop from finder into this window). DONE - Attach a debug log, if possible. Crash preventing the debug log from saving.
- Attach a screen capture video if it would make the reproduction steps clearer.
- Please attach the crash log. None found in the DiagnosticReports directory. I used the built-in crash reporting, my local username is "Darren Johnston"
PLEASE ATTACH YOUR PLIST FILE FOR BUG REPORTS! Seriously! I'll probably ask you for it if you don’t.
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem
- Open Help menu
- Start typing. I only get 2 letter before the hang.
What happened
Cursor becomes the spinning rainbow. Application will be stuck indefinitely. Requires Activity Monitor to force quit.
What should have happened
I used to get suggestions and highlighting for menu options.
