iTerm crashes when opening after update to Sonoma 14.4

Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Update to Sonama; system restarted
- iTerm starts up, shows restore windows prompt + profile page + "iTerm.app crashed last time it was used"
- If I as to restore the windows, it crashes.
- Replying 'cancel' to the restore windows, I was able to get a window to open
