Offline shell integration fails on NetBSD
Thanks for filing an issue! Please answer the questions below so I can help you.
- iTerm2 version: Build 3.5.0beta18
- OS version: macOS 14.3/NetBSD 9.3
- Attach ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist here (drag-drop from finder into this window)
- Attach a debug log, if possible. Instructions at https://iterm2.com/debuglog
- Attach a screen capture video if it would make the reproduction steps clearer. Screen_Recording_2024-01-02_at_03.17.37
PLEASE ATTACH YOUR PLIST FILE FOR BUG REPORTS! Seriously! I'll probably ask you for it if you don’t.
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Attempt to run the offline installer on NetBSD
NetBSD does not support --decode, only -d. Since all other BSDs and Linuxs seem to support -d perhaps the command should be changed to that? Or dectect of netbsd is being run.
