Detailed steps to reproduce the problem: Unfortunately, I have no way of reproducing this.
What happened: I routinely keep sessions in iTerm running for days, often weeks. Twice in the last few months, I have ended up in a situation where iTerm behaves as though it has lost Full Disk Access in every session all at once: I get "Operation not permitted" in my ~/Documents directory, for instance. Other applications can get to that folder just fine. The Security & Privacy prefs pane still lists iTerm as having FDA.
This clears up if I simply quit and re-run iTerm. But, obviously, I lose session history that way, so it's not ideal.
I think it's fairly likely that this is a bug in Mac OS, not iTerm, but I figured I'd bring it up here in case it's something you have experienced. If not, feel free to close this issue.
