partial line prompt (highlighted %) when restoring session with either oh-my-zsh or oh-my-posh installed
Bug report
Thanks for filing an issue! Please answer the questions below so I can help you.
- iTerm2 version: 3.4.19
- OS version: 13.2.1
- com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
- Issue cannot be reproduced when debug logging is turned on.
- Screenshot of issue:
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem
- Install oh-my-zsh using wget (or oh-my-posh using homebrew)
- If installing oh-my-posh, create .zshrc manually with the line
eval "$(oh-my-posh init zsh)"
and enter the commandexec zsh
- Quit iTerm2 (⌘+Q)
- Reopen iTerm2
What happened
There is a partial line prompt (highlighted percent sign) between the Last login
line and the prompt line.
What should have happened
There should be nothing between these two lines.
This does not occur with OMZ with the Apple terminal, and the issues disappears if dubugging is turned on (with both debugging on application start and append debug to existing log enabled).
